Ms Vijaya Sharma has worked extensively with the print and electronic media (television and the internet) in her 17 years of work, covering environment, health and lifestyle among others. She has edited books, journals, and research papers and done original writing for newspapers and magazines. In her years with Hindustan Times, she has worked on key projects for the website: Project PoW (Prisoners of War), Project Netaji and Project Tabloid for the web and conceptualised and executed launch of HTNext.com, a youth portal and the Hindustan Times’ UK Online Edition. As a freelancer, she has worked with organisations such as Zee Television, ArcelorMittal, India Today, Voluntary Health Association of India, and other developmental organisations.
